Micro-Star International, one of the leading manufacturers of computer hardware and solution decided to add a new mp3 item in its portfolio.

The MSI MS-5552 mp3 player offers the owner the pleasure of unrestricted listening entertainment. Or at least that's what they say. It was specially designed to comply with the Bluetooth Class II specifications in order to provide listening capabilities and freedom of performing outdoor exercise routine.

On the outside, the player features a smooth compact design, a generous 1.8 inch color TFT LDC display and a SRS wow 3D surround sound. You just have to relax and enjoy the sound! It sports an ultra resistant high quality aluminum alloy body. The MS-552 looks better than the previous versions and comes with an affordable price tag.

The designers thought about all the fine details when they added slightly sophisticated touch panels and easy-to-use controls which can be operated even with a single hand. It sports a battery capable of running for more than a few hours, 50hours to be more precise. The great thing is that it does that with a single AAA battery.

Having the sizes of a candy bar, the player is a great gift for anyone who had enough trouble with the wired devices. It comes in different storage capacity of 128MB to 4GB of flash memory.

MSI press center didn't give any precise price, but it seems to be a decent and mostly good-looking player which is worth a couple of dimes.

It surprises me that many of MSI products don't reach the Northern part of the Pacific, since they can be compared with many fancy players which lack resistance and portability.

All in all, apart from the generous playback time, the player is not too bad to look at either. Moreover, I think there are a lot of manufacturers out there who could learn a lot from these guys. Good job!
