I know you were just waiting for this mod to come out, and your wait is nearly over. Yeah, I'm talking about Garry's mod for Half-Life 2. It will be available
via Steam from tomorrow, and will cost just under US$ 10.

What is so special about this mod, some of you may ask. Well, I have to inform you that once you download it, you will be able to create your own Half-Life 2 scenes, using objects and elements from the game engine. But be aware that you can download this mod only if you already have a Source Engine game, such as Half-Life 2. Valve also made available a special download package, consisting of Garry's Mod and Counter-Strike: Source of just US$ 24,95.

Eurogamer also has some statements of Garry Newman, the author of the mod, in which he says that this new version has been created from scratch, adding lots of new elements while not leaving the old ones aside, but reinventing them.

As regarding the new features, Garry Newman reveals that you have some new tools like winches, hydraulics and hoverballs to play with, a brand-new spawn menu and also some new Post Processing effects. He also promises to update this mod regularly but let's see if he keeps his word.

Many of you may not be pleased, as the previous mod from Garry Newman, namely the 9.0.4 version, was free of charge. But keep in mind that US$ 10 is not that much. Think of it this way: what could you get for US$ 10?
