Nvidia and Ubisoft confirm that they've partnered up to release a new set of bundles that include games from the large publisher, like Assassin's Creed Unity or Far Cry 4, alongside graphics cards from the big hardware maker, like the GTX 970 or 980.

Nvidia has taken a keen interest in promoting PC gaming in the last few years, striking partnerships with developers and publishers to implement its different technologies into the PC versions of their big titles, and so far things are going really well.

A traditional partner for Nvidia has been Ubisoft, as the French publisher has made sure that its recent titles run great on PCs equipped with Nvidia graphics cards and that its upcoming games incorporate different features from the popular company.

New bundles are available

Now, ahead of the winter holiday season, Nvidia and Ubisoft confirm that they've teamed up for a series of great bundles that include coveted graphics cards and long-awaited PC games.

More specifically, those who buy an Nvidia GeForce GTX video card, in the form of the 980, 970, 780 Ti, or 780, as well as those who get a notebook with a 980M or 970M mobile graphics card can choose to receive one of three games for free, in the form of Assassin's Creed Unity, Far Cry 4, or The Crew.

"Nvidia has worked hard, hand-in-hand with our development teams, to help provide the best experience for our PC players," says Jean-Francois St.Amour, Lead Graphics Programmer at Ubisoft Montreal. "Their support and insight is even more important now, as we make a big technological leap into the next-generation of Assassin’s Creed games."

The new games take advantage of Nvidia hardware

By pairing up the new graphics cards with the upcoming games, PC users can enjoy some of the exclusive features that have been included in the new titles by Ubisoft in partnership with Nvidia.

Assassin's Creed Unity includes HBAO+, TXAA, PCSS, and tessellation technologies to make its rendition of Paris during the French Revolution that much more impressive. Far Cry 4 features the aforementioned technologies, enhanced support for 4K resolution, as well as the Nvidia Godrays and HairWorks ones that make light and hair feel that much more realistic.

The crew also includes HBAO+ and TXAA, not to mention 4K support to ensure that its whole world is really impressive.

The new Nvidia Ubisoft hardware bundles are set to roll out in stores around the world this week, so stay tuned for announcements from local retailers.
