The Apex Gaming Keyboard is very colorful, to say the least

Ever since tech experts invented backlighting, they have been relentlessly implementing it wherever they could, even when it was not needed.

Sure, it's useful to have a backlight in a keyboard, because it's hard to see the keys at night.

But that doesn't explain why some go to the length of making it multicolored.

And the backlight used by the SteelSeries Apex Gaming Keyboard is definitely multicolored, and even has raised macro-keys along the top and left side, as well as anti-ghosting (the 20 most used game keys can be pressed at once), an enlarged space bar, two swappable feet, and a SteelSeries key that allows the user to easily adjust brightness and disable the Windows key with no software required.

That last bit can be a real boon. I can definitely imagine people raging because they lost a shooter round due to accidentally minimizing their game.

SteelSeries Apex Gaming Keyboard has a price of $99.99 / €99.99.
