The website of Germany’s Pirate Party, an organization that militates for the freedom of the Internet, has been disrupted once again due to a distributed denial-of-service (DDOS) attack.

The organization announced being attacked around 14 hours ago. Two hours later, a message was posted on Twitter to announce that services were up and running after their hosting provider blocked the cyberattack.

No details have been offered regarding the origin of the attack. Similar to last time, not one has taken credit for the cyberattack.

The systems of the Pirate Party were last targeted by hackers in late August. At the time, the organization said it installed additional DDOS protection systems to mitigate such attacks.

Over the past few days, the Pirate Party experienced some issues with their email services. However, it’s unlikely that the problems have anything to do with cybercriminals.
