14 DAY TRIAL // Ladies’ man Gerard Butler strikes again, reports online say. The gorgeous actor is believed to be romancing co-star Jessica Biel – and proof of that may be recent photos of the two on a bike ride, down the Pacific Coast Highway.
Shortly after Biel ended her 4-year relationship with Justin Timberlake, news broke that she’d set her eyes on Gerard Butler – and the feeling was mutual, it was said.
For a while there, nothing else was heard of the blossoming romance, until just now, when a fresh batch of the photos has emerged, showing the two enjoying some quality time on Butler’s bike.
Understandably, romance rumors are burning a hole in the Internet because of said pics, but E! Online points out that this doesn’t necessarily mean that the two are an item.
“The same day Jess was spotted canoodling with ex-boyfriend Justin Timberlake, she was also photographed taking a ride down the Pacific Coast Highway on a Harley Davidson with Gerard Butler,” E! notes.
“The two seemed close, and well, kinda cute together in their biker gear,” the e-zine adds.
Still, people shouldn’t jump to conclusions and assume from the start that there’s something going on between the two.
“Well, the two actors began forming a friendship together back in March while filming Playing the Field in Louisiana,” E! reports.
Since then, they’ve been pretty close: there’s definitely a lot of flirting going on but they’re not together just yet, says the same publication.
“Butler’s rep tells Us magazine, ‘They’re just friends!’ and Biel says she ‘only wants to be friends’ with the 41-year-old,” E! says, adding that this is just as good a start for a new romance as any other.
Before the rumored romance with Butler, Jessica was in a serious relationship with Justin Timberlake, as also noted above. That one ended because it had “run its course,” but word has it that Justin’s cheating may also have played a part in the split.
If one is to believe tabloid reports, Gerard has a habit of romancing his female co-stars, especially if they’re good looking: his fling with Jennifer Aniston, which started on the set of “The Bounty Hunter,” is probably the best example.
