He’s repeatedly denied that he’s a ladies’ man, but the latest paparazzi pictures of Gerard Butler would seem to tell a different story. The actor went strolling the other night, met a woman who was apparently playing violin on the sidewalk, exchanged numbers with her and then, quite by surprise, kissed her passionately,
Wonderwall MSN says.
Of course, there could be a very good explanation for the impromptu make out session, the most obvious one being, of course, that the mystery woman realized who she was talking to and asked for the kiss herself. Instead of this, though, several US media outlets have chosen to see the entire thing as the best example of how swiftly Gerard Butler works with women, referring to the kiss as “the Butler technique.”
“She was playing violin along the Venice Beach boardwalk. According to shutterbugs on the scene, Gerry, decked out in unsightly camouflage shorts and accompanied by some pals, stopped to hear the musical lady do her thing. But instead of tossing the traditional tip of, say, a buck or two in her violin case, he ponied up his digits,” the aforementioned publication notes.
“Then, perhaps feeling that this was a bit chintzy on his part, the actor also offered up a little something extra: his most suave, saliva-soaked moves, with snappers catching his hand wandering toward the lady’s Lycra-encased derriere as they kissed and clinched on the sidewalk,” Wonderwall further says. Photos and video taken by paparazzi on the scene show that, indeed, Mr. Butler and the shoeless violin lady did not seem to know each other.
After the smooching session was over, the two embraced once more and Gerard Butler went on his way. Given that this comes less than 24 hours after the actor was supposedly out on a second
date with Jessica Simpson, perhaps it’s no wonder they call him the biggest charmer in Hollywood.
