When Maja Nogic decided to have her bachelorette party in the Sydney harbor, she and her friends had no idea that the famous Hollywood actor Gerard Butler would be showing up and crashing the festivities in probably the biggest way possible.

The “300” actor was in Sydney, Australia because he was getting ready to film the movie “Gods of Egypt,” in which he was supposed to play the role of Set, the ancient god of chaos and violence, along with Geoffrey Rush and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau from “Game of Thrones.”

Just before the girls started their party, Gerard hired a boat to look at some properties on Rushcutter's Bay, but when he saw the group getting their party on, he casually approached them and asked if he could join in the merriment, according to Daily Mail.

At first, the girls “thought it was [an exotic dancer], because it was a hen’s party. But then we saw [Gerard] standing on the boat. We all just started screaming,” said Dragana Ogorelica, one of the close friends of the bride, who, upon realizing the actor's true identity, said they all got “the shock of [their] lives.”

The 44-year-old Hollywood hunk reportedly asked, “Is this a hen’s party? Can I join? We’re going to dance a little bit, drink a little bit.” After that, he told his management that it was free to leave, as he would continue to stay with the girls and party.

Ever the gentleman, Gerard complimented the wife-to-be, telling her that her future husband was a “really lucky guy, whoever he is.” The man in question was elsewhere, busy with his own bachelor party, so imagine his surprise when his future wife texted him a photo of her and Butler arm in arm.

His reply was “That’s it, I’m going to go and find Jennifer Hawkins,” before adding that he would understand if Maja chose to run off with the actor.

The girls, meanwhile, didn't hesitate to snap a lot of photos with the star, while they gushed and giggled about his accent, “His accent, oh my goodness, it was so beautiful. You couldn’t understand him half the time, but you didn’t care because it was just gorgeous.”

Butler didn't seem to mind posing for snaps with the girl, despite the fact that he had been linked with some of the prettiest women in the world, the likes of Jennifer Aniston, Naomi Campbell or Cameron Diaz, proving that he was a good sport and a down-to-earth guy.
