Although both are talented musicians and beloved public figures, Sir Elton John's commentaries have always put him in hot water with his fellow colleagues. This was also the case with George Michael, who was so upset about John's remarks that he decided to sever all connections with him. The feud began in 2004, when the older singer decided to speak his mind about Michael, who was then at a turning point in his life and career. John said that George should spend more time out, promoting his music, than locked up in his house or permanently getting in trouble with the law. The enraged George Michael answered back via an open letter, in which he stated: 'Elton John knows nothing about George Michael. We have rarely spoken in the last 10 years and what would probably surprise most people is that we have never discussed my private life'. But the big-mouthed singer Elton John did not end his bitter remarks here. In July this year, when George was caught 'cruising' in the woods and allegedly engaging in sexual conduct with an unknown man, John said that he would better stop this kind of behavior if he ever wants to sell a record again. He also advised the younger singer to seek professional treatment to help him overcome his 'deep-rooted unhappiness'. After all the bitter remarks thrown from left to right, the two superstars have finally made peace with each other. In a recent interview, Sir Elton John said that the feud is now in the past and, what's more, there are no harsh feelings between them anymore. 'George is great. I haven't seen him since Hampstead Heath. George and I are fine. He came and stayed down my house last year.', the 'Sacrifice' star insisted. And he even held his tongue when the interviewer asked him on his opinion on Michael's current lifestyle: 'I'd rather keep my mouth shut... It's up to him what he does with his life really and I don't really want to get into that anymore'. If his words are indeed true, their joint fans are currently praying for a music collaboration...
