He wants to become an attorney to stop the “miscarriage of justice” that happened to him

George Zimmerman sat down for an exclusive interview with Chris Cuomo for CNN’s New Day segment, and the videos already available online are bound to infuriate all those people who thought he should have been convicted for the 2012 murder of the teen Trayvon Martin.

Included in this blog post are two excerpts. In the one above, Zimmerman repeatedly fails to answer the simple question of whether he’s sorry for Trayvon’s death, by saying he can’t really comment on it because of an ongoing investigation.

He also says that his life “would have been much easier” if he’d just stayed put that night. Some would expect him to be a bit more sensitive before saying such things, since Trayvon is no longer able to lament how difficult his life is, because Zimmerman took it (regardless of the circumstances).

In the second video below, Zimmerman says he wants to become an attorney because he wants to stop “the miscarriage of justice” that happened to him from happening to other people. He also claims he was a scapegoat for Obama or the government, but he can’t really say what they were scapegoating him for.

Useless to say, the interview has already prompted some very violent responses in the online community, and not just for the reasons mentioned above. Do you think they’re justified, or is Zimmerman really the victim? Let me know in the comments section below.
