An armed George Zimmerman was stopped for speeding by officers in Texas. Dashcam footage from the squad car shows Zimmerman getting a free pass.

The clip was captured on Sunday, July 29, in Forney, Texas. According to The Improper, he was asked by the officer where he was going.

“Nowhere in particular,” he responded.

The officer did not recognize him until Zimmerman asked him if he knew who he was. The man acquitted in the Trayvon Martin murder trial then showed the cop that he had a gun in his glove box.

The fact that he was carrying a gun with no Texas permit is not illegal, as the state acknowledges Florida concealed handgun permits.

However, he was never asked for his handgun license and he was advised not to display it. He was let off with a warning for going over the speed limit.
