Kate Gosselin has been having a very hard time on ABC’s Dancing With the Stars precisely because of the thing she thought would make her stint there more fun: her inability to dance. As such, she’s often come close to being voted off after getting very low points and negative comments. Now, she can list George Lopez among her friends and supporters, as he’s just launched the “Keep Kate” campaign, HollywoodLife reports.

The campaign aims to convince fans that they should vote for Kate to stay on DWTS for as long as possible, even if she’s convinced she won’t last for much longer because of her constantly poor results. It says she should stay on the show and even win it for her eight children, who are the only reason why she agreed to do this in the first place. To put it differently, if Kate is voted off, then she can’t provide for her kids, it is being implied – and who would want this kind of responsibility.

“America has spoken and Kate Gosselin is still alive! My master plan is working. I tweeted that everybody should vote for Kate and why. Do it for her kids. Do it for her poor partner Tony, and most importantly do it for the United States of America. It’s your duty America and remember every vote counts and it’s time to keep Kate alive! You are the change we have been waiting for,” Lopez says of his campaign to support Mrs. Gosselin.

As per the aforementioned publication, Kate’s children are also very loyal supporters. “This is the first and only thing I have ever done that my kids care about. It pushes me on to do better, to stay on the show, to get voted through because, honestly, they count down the days until Monday,” Kate told Ryan Seacrest on a recent interview for his radio show, as cited by HollywoodLife.

Celebrities might also line up to express their support for the “Kate cause.” The first one to do so is MTV star Steve O, who showed his good intentions the only way he knows how: by having messages written on pieces of paper and then stapled to different parts of his body.
