You really can't get any happier at the moment than George Clooney, the man who thinks he's found the love of his life, despite the fact that it took him rather long to search. George is said to be in seventh heaven right now, walking on a puffy cloud, and he's so eager to get married that he'd do it tomorrow if her could.

This from the man who said that he wasn't husband material and that he'd never get married again. Now, Us Weekly has him pegged as hopelessly in love. “He'd marry her today if he could, but he wants to give her a dream wedding,” as an insider reports.

As it stands, the wedding will most likely take place this fall, giving the two love birds plenty of time to sort things out and plan for the ceremony that is bound to have a couple of Hollywood A-listers, as well as some political figures from both sides of the Atlantic, given the bride and groom's background.

“It is her first, and he wants it to be his last!” the source exclaims, hinting at the importance of the event that is now going to take place as soon as the summer winds down. As you may know, George Clooney was married once before, to actress Talia Balsam, back in 1989, but he got divorced in 1993.

After that experience, Clooney swore off marriage for good and proceeded to spend the rest of his life from fling to fling, being dubbed by the media as “the eternal bachelor.”

Clooney isn't the only one who expects to speed up the proceedings. Amal's old-fashioned parents are also keen for them to tie the knot as soon as possible. “They expect a short engagement,” claims the insider.

As it has been previously mentioned, it is believed that the ceremony is going to take place at Clooney's Italian mansion on the picturesque Lake Como. In later weeks, there has also been talk of another possible location, in Cabo, San Lucas, at another of Clooney's homes.

The happy couple already celebrated their engagement with a party with some of their close friends in Malibu last weekend. Among those invited were Cindy Crawford and U2 rocker Bono, who actually took the mic and sang “Wonderwall,” according to eyewitnesses.

This week, Amal was spotted in London for the first time since the engagement, heading back to work, proof that she's not going to ditch her career to follow Clooney around the globe. In fact, this was one of the reasons that Clooney fell in love with her in the first place: the fact that she is a smart, independent woman, with an impressive career.
