Actor refuses to answer the question that's been on the lips of many for years

Ever since he became the “hottest man alive,” the “most eligible bachelor” and “Hollywood's hottest star,” as dubbed by countless publications, George Clooney could never really dodge one question: that of his orientation. He has no plans of answering it anytime soon.

The Advocate, one of the leading LGBT publications, asked George the ever-burning question, People magazine reports.

Where some other guy would have denied it or even made a big fuss over it, this Oscar-nominated actor refuses to answer it, saying that, by doing so, he would offend either the gays or the straight.

George also says he's always been a very private person and he has every plan to remain this way from now on as well.

“I think it’s funny, but the last thing you’ll ever see me do is jump up and down, saying, 'These are lies!'” Clooney says when asked how he feels about the gay rumors making the rounds for years.

“That would be unfair and unkind to my good friends in the gay community. I’m not going to let anyone make it seem like being gay is a bad thing,” the star adds.

“My private life is private, and I’m very happy in it. Who does it hurt if someone thinks I’m gay? I’ll belong dead and there will still be people who say I was gay. I don’t give a [expletive],” George further says.

As his fans must surely know, George is now dating former wrestler Stacy Keibler, whom he started seeing shortly after he broke up from Italian television personality Elisabetta Canalis.

He took the both of them to the Oscars in 2011 and 2012 as his dates but, voices online say, that's the only kind of commitment that George is willing to make right now: walking the red carpet together, as a couple.
