George Clooney Disapproves of Stacy Keibler’s Tanning Habit

Because he doesn't like to share intimate aspects of his personal life with the press, George Clooney's romances have always fascinated the public more than any other. A recent report claims he might dump his current girlfriend Stacy Keibler because he doesn't share her passion for fake tans.

The latest print issue of Star magazine (story via CB) writes that one of Stacy's latest acquisitions is an ultra modern and very expensive tanning bed, which should help her maintain her tanned glow throughout the year within the comfort of her own home.

She might be thrilled with her new toy, but George is anything but that, the report claims.

He always imagined her to be something of a natural beauty and the thought that she now has something to help her keep her tan is enough to get him to dump her.

It's not so much the idea of having an all-year tan that bothers him but rather what this obsession with one's looks betrays.

“He was attracted to her initially because she seemed like a natural beauty who didn’t obsess about her looks. But that’s not really true, and it’s beginning to bother him,” an insider says.

“George, who works hard to cultivate an intelligent image, genuinely worries that Stacy’s tanorexia will reflect badly on him, says the insider. Ironically, Stacy thinks purchasing the bed was responsible – because now she won’t be driving back and forth to the salon twice a week,” Star writes.

This tanning bed could just be the apple of discord between the two, the report alleges. Clooney has a reputation for being quite a ladies' man, so he might move on to another, more natural beauty if Stacy doesn't oblige him in this.

“She is not taking his disapproval seriously, but George has dumped girls for smaller offenses,” the insider says.

Ironically enough, only a short while ago, the tabloids were saying that all was right between the two. In fact, rumors about a possible upcoming wedding ceremony had already started making the rounds, as we also noted.

Stacy has been introduced to George's parents, and they believe she could actually be the one to get him to finally tie the knot, thus taking off the market Hollywood's most famous bachelor.
