This could be a solution to global warming-related issues

The public is apparently more aware of the existence of geoengineering than earlier surveys have shown. More and more people are beginning to enter the debate as to whether we should apply this set of techniques to protect the world against the effects of global warming.

In short, geoengineering is a field of science that seeks to use various climate modification techniques at a global scale, in order to keep Earth's temperature in check. If the average global temperature increases by just 2 degrees Celsius, it will trigger a cascade of events from which there is no return.

It is the goal of geoengineering to ensure that this does not happen. This can be achieved through a number of ways, such as boosting phytoplankton blooms in the oceans, seeding the atmosphere with clouds, installing solar reflectors and so on, ScienceNow reports.
