People who may wish to jailbreak their iPhones or iPads and didn’t follow the news lately should learn that the community’s most beloved hackers have released the necessary tools to provide an untethered jailbreak for most devices running iOS 5.0.1.

We’re posting this in light of yet another questionable paid jailbreak service emerging on the web.

Yes, a new potential jailbreak / unlock scam is on the loose. iPhoneunlockeasily.com is gaining attention thanks to the hype surrounding the latest feats coming from iPhone Dev Team and Chronic Dev.

“Welcome to iPhoneUnlockEasily.com!”, reads the site’s description. “We offer the #1 iPhone Unlocking Solution and can help to jailbreak and unlock any iPhone 2G, 3G, 3GS, 4 and iPhone 4S!”, the site claims.

“Our advanced software is fully up-to-date, very easy to use and can even fix phones that have been damaged or stuck by previous bad unlockers --> Get Started Now!”, reads the introduction.

Don’t be fooled by the colorful graphics and tantalizing list of benefits, or the (likely) fake reviews they post as testimonies from their so-called customers.

But most of all, don’t be fooled because the real deal is out there already - Redsn0w, Corona and PwnageTool are the three new releases that jailbreak fans should know about.

These genuine jailbreak tools are all available instantly, and their creators will never ask for money in exchange for using them.

Not that jailbreaking is a recommended practice, but if you’re the rogue type, the least you can do is avoid paying $24.99 for a repackaged version of the aforementioned free tools.

Many of our readers signaled in the past that such offers were, indeed, scams and that they never saw their money back. Hopefully this will raise more awareness about these fishy services.

Me too. Wish I'd found *this* review before all the fake ones. $25 down the drain. GreenPois0n worked like a charm, however (sounds fishy but isn't.)
