After the release of the nXZEN noise cancelling Bluetooth headset released last year, that apparently offered the "most advanced and powerful noise reduction in the industry" Gennum is now releasing a new and improved Bluetooth headset, the nx6000.

According to the leading provider of technology for personal audio products, Gennum, the nx6000 is both easy to use and versatile by featuring a new multifunction button design.

The design allows the user to quickly access the most commonly used features of the headset and, compared to the nXZEN, includes the company's patented FRONTWAVE extreme noise cancellation algorithm combined with the Digital Voice Isolation technology. Basically, due to the inclusion of the two technologies, the headset eliminates background noise.

"The technology behind the Bluetooth market has developed dramatically over the past three years," said Don Shaver, Director of Product Development of the Audio and Wireless Division at Gennum. "The nX6000 is Gennum's answer to this growth, designed to meet the evolution of style and fit and deliver function for the future of the headset industry. Its comfort, superior noise cancellation, and stylish design make the nX6000 the solution for mobile users in most any environment, be it sporting events, crowded malls, driving with the windows open or factory floors."

The stylish and small headset will provide its user with 6 hours of talk time or 90 hours of standby time and it will be available, just as in the case of nXZEN, online and through in-store retailers.
