Genius Releases USB-Powered Satellite Speakers

They work with desktops just as well as they work with laptops

Companies like Genius always try to make their speakers, and other products, stand out through good looks, not just audio quality, which is why the SP-U115 turned out the way they did.

The main difference between them and other speakers is that they are connected to PCs (desktops and laptops alike) via a USB+audio jack combo, rather than normal audio jacks.

Spec-wise, they have 2-inch driver units, which is sufficient for home entertainment and better than laptop integrated speakers.

The signal-to-noise ratio is decent as well: 80 dB, which suggests a higher clarity too.

The volume can be controlled via a small dial on the side of the right satellite.

To buy the Genius SP-U115 USB speakers, assuming one lives in Canada or the US, a payment of $14.99 / 14.99 Euro will be necessary. One out of four front color options can be selected.
