There are many products that Genius is known for, and it looks like a certain member of its collection, the HS-200 Gold, is now ready to sell in North America.

The market for speakers, headphones, full audio systems and all other such things is one that is always renewing.

Of course, older products disappear as new ones take their place, but technologies have gotten quite varied and overall better than years ago.

Genius is one of the companies that like to keep reminding their customers of this, releasing even the occasional device with gold in full view, like the aptly-named HS-200 Gold.

Granted, the company is not just known for its audio devices, as it also has such things on sale as wireless mice.

The HS-200 Gold is making the news because it has reached online stores from the US and Canada.

The name comes from its 3.5mm connector, which is plated in the eponymous metal, for greater conductivity. The frequency response is of 20 Hz to 20,000 Hz (20 KHz).

All things considered, it might end up locked in a competition, of sorts, with the likes of V-MODA's True Blood Headphones.

For those who haven't yet guessed, the Genius HS-200 are headphones of the in-ear variety, unlike the Sync by 50.

Other specifications include a 1.2-meter long cable (3.93 feet) and three sets of earbuds, to fit anyone's ears.

S (small), M (medium) and L (large) earbuds, to be more precise, will be bundled with the Genius HS-200 Gold. The price is of $24.99, which translates into 18.99 Euro, based on exchange rates.

As always, users should take care not to take the exchange rates at face value, what with European products so seldom actually reflecting them (the HS-200 gold will probably cost more than the above sum in Europe).
