Geneva Lab's New Stereo Sound System for iPods

You probably heard of all kinds of weird iPod sound systems. There is a fireplace with built-in iPod speakers and built-in iPod, a grill-dock combo and also a Bonsai docking solution. Well, I'm not sure about the last, but the first two really do exist. Here's another interesting approach: Geneva Sound System XL, a weird big box that looks like a mono speaker (a possible predecessor of the XXL iPod dock).

The Geneva Sound System XL is crafted in a cabinet made out of piano lacquered wood and comes with a built in slot loading a CD player and a FM radio. It may look like a big mono speaker, but underneath the front grill you'll find 1-inch stereo tweeters, 5.25-inch woofers and 8-inch subs, all driven by a 600-watt high fidelity amplifier. It's a large size stereo system alright! It boasts an extremely wide frequency range, "from a deep bass to crystal clear highs", and also an ample power that would probably allow you to make some noise even in large rooms or in the hall of a big French castle, for example. Good luck finding the location where you could hear optimal stereo sound... the sweet spot that is.

Some of the included accessories are the following: remote control, iPod Dock Adapters (set of 7 pieces for different iPod models), adapter cable for MP3 player (1/8 inch plugs on both ends), line in cable (RCA jacks, 9 feet long), AC power cable and external FM wire antenna.

It's available in red, black or white for the non-discriminative price of 1075$.
