Sprint and Verizon added the BlackBerry Tour 9630 to their lineup last weekend, and now it's high time for another carrier and another handset from Research In Motion to make the headlines, namely T-Mobile and its upcoming BlackBerry Gemini (aka Curve 8520). The new device is expected to make an appearance in the carrier's lineup in the really near future, and it seems that some more details on the expected launch should surface shortly.

To be more precise, both T-Mobile and RIM are reportedly ramping up for launching into the wild the handset at the upcoming ‘BlackBerry Night at the Movies’ sneak preview parties. There will be a number of 51 events included in the series, and the first one is set to kick off on July 20, while the last one will come two weeks afterwards.

According to the news, the events will include a variety of activities, among which we can count movie screenings, contests, door prizes and more. The main attraction of the Nights, however, is expected to be the preview of the Curve 8520, the device that has also been spotted into the wild under the name of Gemini. Even so, it seems that no details on a possible launch of the phone during the two weeks the events will last have surfaced, yet this will certainly happen soon.

Moreover, it seems that the number of Gemini units that have been spotted in the wild has also grown, which suggests that the launch is close too. It will be interesting to see whether those coming to the events will go home with one unit of the new handset in their pockets, so stay tuned to learn more on this. And until the parties start, it seems that there is the possibility for people to register for an invitation on Facebook here. You should hurry up if you wanna be there, as registrations will close on July 19, we learn.
