Aware of the fact that the number of gamers worldwide is enormous and rising, currently generating over $35 billion every year, Golden Emperor International Ltd. has been participating, for the past several years, in gaming events and communities, and has even supported professional gaming teams, gathering knowledge of both hardware and the gamers' preferences. The result of this active research has yielded the Black Dragon Gaming Series DDR3 memory line, featuring a large memory capacity, speed and reliability.

The Gaming Series DDR3 Black Dragon is available as Dual Channel Kits and even Quad Channel Kits. The memory modules come in several models and each has a variety of speeds. The CL7 may run at 1066, 1333, 1600 and 1800MHz, while the CL6 is only capable of 1333MHz, with CL8 operating at 1600, 1800 and 2000MHz. Finally, the CL9 model may run, like some of the CL7 and 8 models, at 1333, 1600, 1800 and 2000MHz, but it is also the only one capable of 2133MHz.

The memory units may come bundled into a Dual Channel Kit Retail Package, with the two modules capable of 1GB each (2GB total) or with a total capacity of 4GB (2x 2GB). Nevertheless, the most interesting and, at the same time, the most convenient option for hard-core gamers is the Quad Channel Kit Retail Package, which features four modules capable of a 2GB memory each, with a combined capacity of 8GB.

The memory modules make use of the DBT technology from Geil (Die-hard Burn-in technology), which increases the performance and the stability of the products.

This newest release from Geil comes perfectly just a short time after the release of the Radeon HD 5970 graphics adapters. Gamers who combine this excellent memory solution with AMD's ultra high-end graphics card and a suitable 'lair' (a powerful motherboard with at least four RAM slots for the Black Dragon to 'store its hoard') will truly deliver the ultimate gaming experience.
