Indeed, CeBIT 2009 seems to be the place where all the big players in the industry gathered to showcase some of their more impressive innovations. Among the companies that came to the show, we were able to find Geil, also known as Golden Emperor International Ltd.

On the floor of the CeBIT expo we've seen a wide range of new gaming systems able to provide unparalleled performance levels, as well as brand new mobile computers that also include technologies up until now seen only on desktop machines. Geil has brought here for demonstration new memory modules, which are also said to provide enhanced computing experience.

The memory modules seen at the show are known as XMP EVO ONE, and are part of the company's DDR3 XMP Series. They come with a PC3-1400 1800MHz speed and feature a CL8-8-8-28 latency. In addition, the company packed them with an EVO Cyclone cooling solution, so as to be able to provide stable operations even when under heavy load.

Geil showcased its memory modules at CeBIT on a system packing a Gigabyte motherboard featuring an X58 chipset, paired with an Intel Core i7 965 processor cooled down by a CoolerMaster solution, and also including an MSI GeForce GTX 260 graphics card. The system also featured a CoolerMaster Real Power Pro M1000 PSU.

The benchmarking tests you can see in the images below show that the memory modules are able to provide a rather low latency, although a little different from that suggested by the company: 10-9-9-29. The operating speeds of the memory modules are somehow impressive, yet this is what anyone would expect from any Intel Extreme Memory Profiles (XMP) memory module.

As marketed by the company, the XMP EVO ONE memory modules come with support for the Intel Core 2 Extreme processors. More information on the memory kits can be found on the company's site.
