Geforce 8800 GTX/GTS DirectX 10 Driver Delayed

10 days before Vista OEM arrives and Nvidia still doesn't offer any Vista compatible driver for its G80 series. I'm beginning to think that 8800 buyers are running out
of patience. And don't even get me started about the DirectX 10 capabilities we're all just dying to see.

Nvidia said it would release a driver by the end of next week but ever since that statement arrived, nothing new emerged from them. And things are starting to look unpleasant for the GPU manufacturer since one could think that they've messed up something and now they're running out of time.

It's also safer to assume that Nvidia suffers from image problems, and this is just the latest glitch added to the big picture. Remember the G80 being postponed due to faulty resistor problems? That didn't do them any good either. And it seems it's getting even worse with all the 8800 owners getting pissed because they can't use the DirectX 10 capabilities they've paid for. And that's bad since G80 cards are otherwise quite a big leap forward in 3D rendering. I guess we'll have to wait a little longer.
