Ultimate job perk

So all of you that have a 50 inches screen think you are pretty cool, huh? I bet you also have a pretty neat sound system and other devices that enhance your gaming experience. Once you read this, you will feel sorry for yourself and never want to play video games on that tiny 50 inches screen of yours.

It looks like Gears of War fans are everywhere, some work as garbage men, some are Fortune 500 CEOs and some work in movie theaters. Maybe the ones that work "in the movie industry" are the luckiest ones as once in a while, they get to have a special gaming experience.

Two guys that fit this profile decided to do some "overtime" and as they found themselves all alone in a movie theater they found nothing better to do than to hook up an Xbox 360 to the auditorium's digital projector and sound system. They fired up Gears of War and experienced the ultimate gaming experience. Kotaku has this story, and according to their tipster, the picture was "decent" and the sound was booming.

Actual images showing the two guys playing were not revealed, but I'm curious to see how they were playing. The wireless controller only has a range of some 30 feet. If the Xbox 360 is in the projection room and they are sitting a few rows back to get the full picture, this doesn't make any sense.

Anyway, even if this story turns out to be a dupe, it is nice to see Gears of War on the big screen, even if it is just the logo. Makes we wanna think about a Gears of War movie. How would you feel about that? But I guess you are still waiting for the Halo movie to come out.
