Gears of War for PCs

Yap, it may be true, the latest third-person shooter for the Xbox 360 might be ported onto a more accessible gaming platform, the PC to be exact. You know that game developers are in it for the money, so they also tap-in the immense
gaming potential of the PC.

But keep in mind that this is just a rumor as IGN reports that PC Gamer magazine may have revealed this fact without being 100% aware of it. To be more exact, the Holiday issue of PC Gamer posted on page 28 a photo showing Gears of War among a couple of upcoming PC games.

In the embedded material, PC Gamer was discussing Windows Vista and its support for upcoming games. When contacted by IGN, Microsoft declined to confirm a PC version of Gear of War, a normal reaction as they do not have any releases planned in the near future.

I know that some of you are keeping your fingers crossed for PC Gears of War, as it may turn out to be the best game of the year. It managed to get extremely high review scores and gaming forums have been overcrowded with praising posts. But, for the time being, we will have to settle for the Xbox 360 version.
