14 DAY TRIAL // Developer Epic Games has released a video designed to show off Overrun, the new game mode that will be included in the upcoming Gears of War: Judgment.
The new Overrun mode will be a combination of the Beast and the Horde modes that gamers have played in previous installments in the series.
The new Gears of War is designed as a prequel to the series and its events will take place shortly after Emergence Day.
Players will now inhabit the body of Baird, one of the characters that have featured in all previous Gears of War games, and other series regulars are expected to make appearances.
Epic Games has not revealed too much about the gameplay and how the character switch will affect the story of the game.
Gears of War: Judgment will be launched during March 2013 exclusively on the Xbox 360 from Microsoft.
Epic Games is also supposedly working on another Gears of War title for the next Microsoft platform.
