14 DAY TRIAL // Epic Games has just confirmed that a brand new downloadable expansion will soon be released for Gears of War: Judgment on the Xbox 360, in the form of the Lost Relics add-on.
It includes four new maps, a new single-objective game type called Breakthrough, as well as new armor and weapon skins.
Gears of War: Judgment appeared on the Xbox 360 in March and, since then, developer Epic Games has kept on releasing new DLC, both in the form of free maps as well as premium ones.
Now, after the free Dreadnought level, Epic Games has confirmed that a fresh add-on is going to appear, in the form of Lost Relics.
The DLC brings four new maps, in the form of fan favorite Checkout, as well as new levels like Lost City, Museum, or Ward, the latter being exclusive to the OverRun mode.
The add-on also includes a Breakthrough single-objective game type that sees two teams go up against each other.
"One team has possession of a flag that they must deliver to a set location; the opposing team has a purely defensive role and unlimited resources. The attacking team must break through the enemy team’s defensive line and deliver the flag before their pool of lives run out," Epic Games said about the mode.
According to a few other details posted on the Epic Games forums, Breakthrough is playable on all the default multiplayer maps, so check out the new info below.
-Breakthrough Gametype plays on every standard MP map -No DBNO -Smoke and Spot grenade load-out only -Flag Team has 35 respawns (subject to change) -Defending Team has unlimited respawns -Round time is set to 10 minutes (subject to change) -Running over the flag equips it -Player carrying the flag is made slightly slower -Carrying the flag doesn't affect your shooting ability -Defending team cannot interact with the flag -A dropped flag stays in place until it reaches objective, then it returns to starting point -Flag Team can score multiple times until they run out of respawns or out of time
The new Gears of War: Judgment Lost Relics DLC is coming this June for the Xbox 360 and more details will be shared until then.
