Gears of War," a Games for Windows title, features the amazing tactical action and multiplayer excitement found in the critically acclaimed "Gears of War" for the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system that sold more than 3.5 million units, and a variety of all-new content, including three new multiplayer maps, a new multiplayer game type, Game Editor, five new campaign chapters and DirectX 10

support.

"Gears of War" thrusts gamers into a deep and harrowing story of humankind's epic battle for survival against the Locust Horde, a nightmarish race of creatures that surface from the bowels of the planet. With "Gears of War," Epic Games returns gamers to the massively scoped worlds, memorable characters, cooperative gameplay and hyper-realistic combat that gamers have come to expect from the franchise, plus a few new surprises.

- Online Multi-player: Broadband Internet Connection, Games for Windows - LIVE Gold Subscription

Cheat Console Codes
This will de-activate the ability to get the achievements

Enable Cheat Console

For XP Users:

- Go to C:Documents and Settings[USERNAME]My DocumentsMy GamesGears of War for WindowsWarGameConfig

- Find the "WarInput.ini" file and open it with Notepad

For VISTA Users:

- Go to [USERNAME]DocumentsMy GamesGears of War for WindowsWargameConfig

- Find the "WarInput.ini" file and open it with Notepad

Both Users:

Add or change the following lines:

[Engine.Console]
ConsoleKey=Tilde
TypeKey=Tilde
MaxScrollbackSize=1024
HistoryBot=-1
bEnableUI=True

Start your game and press Tilde (~) to bring up the console, then type in the following codes to get the results:

* Also note if you want to easily activate multiple cheats at once just create a Notepad file in your Gears of WarBinaries folder and name it whatever you want like "cheats.txt" save all the cheat command lines you want inside the file.

Start the game and open the cheat console to type:

exec cheats.txt

set WarfareGame.Weap_Grenade magsize # - Change how many grenades you have

set WarfareGame.Weap_AssaultRifle magsize # - Change the clip size to the lancer

set warfaregame.weap_locustpistol magsize # - Change the clip size to the magnum handgun

set warfaregame.weap_locustassaultrifle magsize # - Change the clip size to the semi-automatic

set warfaregame.weap_shotgun magsize # - Change the clip size to the shotgun

set WarfareGame.Weap_SniperRifle magsize # - Change the clip size to the sniper rifle

set warfaregame.weap_cogpistol magsize # - Change the clip size to the standard handgun

set WarfareGameContentWeapons.Weap_Bow magsize # - Change the clip size to the torque bow

set WarfareGameContent.Pawn_COGBaird DefaultHealth # - Increases Baird's Default Health to whatever number you want

set WarfareGameContent.Pawn_COGCarmine DefaultHealth # - Increases Carmine's Default Health to whatever number you want

set WarfareGameContent.Pawn_COGGus DefaultHealth # - Increases Cole's Default Health to whatever number you want

set WarfareGame.Pawn_COGDom DefaultHealth # - Increases Dom's Default Health to whatever number you want
