Epic Games has revealed that it’s aware of a current error that’s happening when Xbox Live users who bought the Gears of War 3 Season Pass but are once again asked to pay for the recently released RAAM’s Shadow DLC.

Gears of War 3 was launched back in September and quickly saw the release of a special Season Pass, which cost quite a lot but offered major savings on all the downloadable content that would be released for the third person shooter, which were then available for free.

As such, you can imagine the surprise of Season Pass owners who were asked to pay the 1200 MS Points for the RAAM’s Shadow DLC yesterday, when the add-on was released.

Epic Games’ Rod Fergusson stated on Twitter that he and his team are aware of this issue and are investigating why this error has appeared. Meanwhile, Season Pass owners are asked to refrain from getting the RAAM’s Shadow DLC until the issue is resolved.

Have you encountered this problem or did you just skip on the whole Season Pass and opted to choose what DLC you got for Gears of War 3?
