Gears of War 3 Might Have Playable Female Characters

Well,even thought I'm not a female,Gears of War 3 should have at least a female as a playable character. It's because just playing as guys would get a little dull later on,so at least we should see like maybe some new COG Soldier. Like how B. Carmine was like,being new to the war. She should be new like him,but at least not died like him.

There should absolutely be at least one playable female character in Gears of War 3. My girlfriend enjoys playing Horde but she would much rather play as a female as opposed to playing as Dom.

Sorry but if they bring a bird into the campaign i'm gona find it a lot harder to take the story seriously. Its hard enough to imagne those guys kicking locust bums never mind ladies mixing it up too. Imagine some lass trying to drag one of those mortars or mulchers around... no way! Please epic don't destroy my favourite games franchise

I do think they should put a female character into gears of war, because i know a lot of girls that do play this game and they think that the game is sexist because there are no female players. And I'm sure they would rather plays as a female character than Carmine. And Adam why would it destroy your "favorite game?" Don't you think that a girl could last with Delta squad or what ever squad she is in? I'm sure Gears of war could use another character, and a female at that.

HELL yes they should put a new girl cog in the game. Gears already has action and gore, all its missing is a chick..

NO please don't put a girl in gears 3. i'd have to stick a gun to my head if that happened. the thought of a girl taking human shields, crushing guys heads, and chainsawing people is a dreadful thought. even worse is seeing a girls head get crushed, decapitated. just think about the teabagging. if ther is a girl at least put her in armor or somehting.

I wouldn't mind seeing a woman COG that is playable, I think it would add some contrast to the game, I also wouldn't mind seeing another black playable character as well.....

the addition of a female character would not be to bad, as long as they do not try to throw a ton of sex appeal into her creation. also if it does not impeed how great the story has the possibility of being. if they chose to leave it with the characters they already have thats fine. i guess it comes down to staying true to the firt and second game and the story they have already layed out.

They should include Bernie and Alex as playable characters, that might lighten up the sausage fest going on now. Bernie is a war veteran like Hoffman, actually knows Hoffman as a close friend, likes Cole too. Alex is a soldier for several years now, she was good for combat because she couldn't bear children, and became Delta One's special "Scout". Both of them haven't died, but also haven't been shown in Gears 1 or 2. It would be great to see them in Gears 3.

In my opinion as a hardcore gamer who plays everything from FPS to RPGS basically every game genre i love the gears of war series and i really hope that they include a girl in the series because not only would it add diversity it would also a new market to female gamers. Also there was a girl in the game Gears Of war 2 , she was a medic but was wearing a Carmine outfit so your couldnt see her face or anything. But like i was saying i would absoultely love for them to put a girl in the game if not then i would be disappontited at epics lack of support for female games, they already supported the casual gamers so where is the support for the female games? If they do add a playable girl (hopefully alex) i would be the happiest girl ever. :P

I completely agree! I am a hardcore gamer as well (and a girl ) and love the Gears of War series (I love playing on coop with my boyfriend). The problem with the first two is that I have to be a male character when playing horde or campaign. I would love to have a female character I could choose to play as and still kick * . There should DEFINITELY be at least one female character added.

I find it very nice for a female to join in the fight, for the human race; but basically what we more need to focus on is, wherethe f**k do the delta squad go, after there headquaters have been destroyed, which character in the squad with marcus besides carmine will die, and where will the queen make more locust hordes next and when will she die, and last, which upcoming new badass boss will be next to come? Stuff like these we need to focus on more then this foolishness. When it happens it happens, shesh!

gears of war series are the best bad azz games out in my opion. if they do add a girl then female players would play more often and it would attract more players (females) the game is amazing i play it on line alot my gamer tag is jt788

Adding a female to gears would make it a lot better, and for those of you who think that most girls are weak, I can tell you there's so many girls that are RIPPED.

Yea haveing a female join the team it'll be badass! Man I like to play gears a lot its like one of the best games I had ever played, now having a goil (girl) as a playable character ill like that a lot my gamertag is CrOw K1LLA 325 so yea let a goil join the team of COGs, so yea that will be AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As a female gears of war gamer. In my honest opinion, I think adding a female to the gears just sucks. I hope she dies like the carmines. =)

I agree with Aya, I'm a female GOW player, and this thing totally stinks! leave it as it is! I can't see a girl holding up a fight against a locust and a chainsaw, or carrying a huge mortar around... The guys struggle as it is! And if you do bring a female into it, make her big and butch, make her look like she can hold her own, not some skinny little blonde who has time to touch up her make-up on a battlefield!!! Boooo :(

obviously im a gears player too :P. since i starte playing gears 1, i was fine with no girls. but now that they bring them in, im excited! it would be interesting to see them in the game and their stories. also, its good to be a girl gamer playing her fav game (lol, me personaly) and finally being able to choose to be a girl.

i also agree with the fact that they shouldnt be sexist and have her all sluty. but she should still look like a girl lol. just not all girly and be like "ahh, i broke a nail!".

The delta squad are big chunky dudes...and they need all that chunky meat to bash the locust hordes. How the hell will some slim girly character match up with that unless shes on heavy steroids??? To see her being able to wear that heavy armour......carry those huge guns aaaand beat up the chunky locust beasts with her not-so-chunky arms...just brings shame to Fenix and the others. It's like saying to the delta squad...u dont need muscle to beat up the locusts...u just need a woman. She can do it for you with half the chunk. Total Bull. Where the hell is the logic in all of this?

I almost agree, the bad side of only having a female in campaign will mean that a lot of female players will frown upon the exclusion, but on the other hand it will stop male players from staring at the female characters and not actually playing.

i think that putting a girl into the campaign is a bad idea. i mean sure there are girls in the army and everything and thats fine but the characters in gears of war are these huge ultimate badasses who are fighting giant monsters. its not like they're just normal guys. if they put in a girl character she would have to fit in with them and if they did that i dont think there would be much appeal for that character. im not trying to be sexist here but popular media likes muscular guys and skinny girls. its just how it is. so i guess it will be popular among female gamers but i just dont see a large popular demand for a female character by the gears of war audience especially if shes some huge muscular dyke. and if she wasn't then she really wouldnt fit in with the other characters.

ahh! i strongly agree with you! im a hardcore gamer too, but not only that.. im a hardcore fan for gears. i think its 100% sure now that they are puting two girls in the game and i couldnt be more excited. it will just anoy me that guys will be more flirty and/or hump (cause you cant really teabag in gears) more.

Alex would be a great addition to the COGs for sure, she seems strong enough and i can imagine the boys wont mind in bothe game and the real universe they didnt mind with Diaz, Burke, Cohen,Grey and Galinsky in Ghost Recon so why not here

As a girl, I hate having to play games where I'm a male, I can connect more with a female instead of bulky man. To see a woman kicking some tail would be epic. I might even consider playing Gears of War if they put a female playable character in it. My boyfriend loves the game and I play it sometimes but I I just can't get into it when I'm a guy. There are already games ahead by placing female options in their games, like Halo or Fable. So catch up GoW.

Yeah but in reality girls are just weak. How many do you see in real wars doing proper soldier stuff and not just admin? Sorry love, but it's a fact of life they can't cut it and I think we can both agree that by adding females it's really just for sex appeal as they are far too weak and puny to be doing proper combat.

Yeah what a great idea, have a girl in it who is skinny and hot and then the option to brutally mutilate them as per the other in-game characters.
