Epic Games has just deployed some more details about its upcoming Forces of Nature DLC for Gears of War 3, this time alongside a batch of screenshots and a video presentation of the five new maps that are included in the add-on.

Gears of War 3 was released last year, back in September, and managed to keep players interested in it and its multiplayer mode thanks to lots of downloadable content that was released by developer Epic Games.

After both multiplayer and single-player DLC, like the Horde Command or RAAM’s Shadow, the studio is now preparing a fresh add-on, in the form of Forces of Nature.

We’ve already heard some details about the pack, which includes three new maps, Cove, Aftermath, and Artillery, as well as two remastered ones from previous Gears of War games, in the form of Jacinto and Raven Down.

Now, the studio has released a few more statements about the rest of the things that are part of the add-on, including new weapon skins or fresh achievements.

“Fog, snowstorms and tsunamis will make playing these maps quite an adventure,” the studio revealed. “Fans will also be treated to four character models and seven new weapon skins. Two of the weapon skins, which were designed based on community feedback, will need to be unlocked. "

"There is also 250 gamerscore points added with this DLC. We listen closely to your suggestions and feedback and we’re happy to announce that the game mode Guardian will be making a return with the “Forces of Nature” DLC.”

Besides the details above, you can check out the maps in action through the screenshots and the video below.

The Forces of Nature DLC for Gears of War 3 will be released on the Xbox 360 on March 27. It will be free to those who have the Season Pass, while those who don’t have it need to pay 800 MS Points.
