Gears of War 2 was one of the most expected titles this holiday season, largely due to the fact that it was the sequel to one of the most popular products for the Xbox 360. The game already broke the pre-order record, and it is set to enjoy huge sales this upcoming holiday season.

Released at the end of last week, Gears of War 2 has already gained a lot of critical acclaim for the well-balanced enemies, the good story and the great multiplayer aspect. Fans have really enjoyed the large number of multiplayer modes, like Horde or Guardian, which offer a lot of innovative features, but have recently complained about a few bugs in the single-player story of the game.

It seems that quite a number of copies display a few glitches, and in some cases even crash. A lot of gamers complained about not being able to pass the boat stage of one of the levels of the game. In response to the concerns of the fans, the community manager of Epic Games, the developer of Gears of War 2, has issued a statement on the official forums of the game, in which he directly addresses the complaints.

"To help keep things organized, I'll be using this thread to address known issues and solutions for Gears of War 2," explained the community manager. "Please read through this list to see if the issue you have is below. If you don't see your issue below, please be patient. I'm sorting through the boards to grab things I see, and will include them here as we have answers for you."

It's really nice to see that Epic is doing everything it can to ensure that gamers will have a great experience, and that no glitch will ruin this very interesting game for them. Although the complaints aren't very numerous, Epic has declared that all of the efforts of the development team are directed towards making a patch that will address any issues encountered by players.
