14 DAY TRIAL // Microsoft has confirmed that, during the month of December, Xbox 360 owners with valid Gold memberships will receive Gears of War 1 and Shoot Many Robots for free through the Games with Gold promotion.
In order to rival Sony's popular PS Plus strategy, Microsoft revealed Games with Gold back in summer and recently confirmed that the initiative will make its way onto the Xbox One next year.
Until then, Microsoft's Larry Hryb confirmed on his blog that the next two free games for Gold users will be Gears of War 1 and Shoot Many Robots.
Starting on Sunday, December 1, Xbox 360 owners with Gold subscriptions will get Gears of War for free, although those in Germany and Japan will receive Halo Wars instead, due to violence restrictions.
On December 16, Shoot Many Robots will go free to download and play.
