Video game developer Gearbox and publisher 2K Games have revealed that Yasemin Arslan, a model hailing from Australia, has been chosen to be the real world embodiment of Lilith, one of the main characters in the Borderlands franchise.

The video attached to this post says that Arslan has been chosen from more than 1,000 women who have auditioned for the role at Gearbox and also shows how she was transformed in order to be closer to the virtual representation of Lilith.

Randy Pitchford, the leader of developer Gearbox, also has a few things to say about Borderlands 2.

The game will take the ideas of the first installment in the series and will expand the scope of the gameplay while offering gamers four new classes to explore the world of Pandora with.

Borderlands 2 is set to be launched on the PC, the PlayStation 3 and the Xbox 360 during 2012.
