This is a factory overclocked video controller with 6.2 GHz memory

We've already seen a bunch of custom-designed and factory-overclocked GeForce GTX 760 graphics adapter. After all, NVIDIA didn't, unlike with other boards, forbid its partners from immediately launching customized ones.

Inno3D has three on sale, or perhaps we should say that it now has four. The latest addition to its collection is called GeForce GTX 760 iChill HerculeZ.

For those who don't know, the reference adapter operates the graphics processing unit at 980 MHz under normal circumstances, but pushes it to 1,033 MHz in a pinch.

The new one released by Inno3D is faster in both respects. The base GPU frequency is of 1,060 MHz, while the GPU boost setting is of 1,124 MHz.

Meanwhile, the 2 GB of GDDR5 VRAM memory work at 6.20 GHz instead of 6 GHz.

That last specification actually sets the board apart from its peers even more than the GPU clocks.

While GPU factory overclocking is common on the latest video boards from both AMD and NVIDIA, the memory, more often than not, doesn't turn out factory overclocked.

And yet Inno3D went through the trouble of boosting the VRAM as well. Clearly, it is fishing for as many customers as possible. But we digress.

A 5+1 phase VRM provides energy to the GPU, much like on NVIDIA's reference GeForce GTX 680.

What's more, since the electricity coursing through the PCI Express 3.0 x16 slot isn't nearly enough for this thing, two PCI-E ports are included as well.

The reference GTX 760 makes do with two 6-pin ports, but this one has one 6-pin port and one 8-pin port, since the better speeds need more juice.

As for the cooler, it is a merger of a pair of aluminum fin stacks, five heatpipes, three 80mm fans and a die-cast metal shroud that holds everything together, yet can also detach as soon as the thumb screws are taken out.

Global launch plans are unknown, but in China, the price should be of 1,799 RMB (US $294 / €225 – 294).
