Gay Sex, Drugs and Betrayal - One More Shocking Story Hits the Headlines after Anna Nicole Smith's Death

If you thought the scandal around Anna Nicole Smith's death and the legal mess she left behind were over, guess again. This time, the battle isn't over money (although ultimately it will come down to this as well, as it always does) but strikes at the image of two of the men at the heart of Anna's life - the former Playboy Playmate's longtime companion Howard K. Stern and her baby's biological father, photographer Larry Birkhead (who has the custody of Anna's daughter, baby Dannielynn Hope). The allegations are that these two men are – and have been – involved in a gay relationship.

If you think that's shocking, there's more of the same. The explosive story comes in a book called "Blonde Ambition: The Untold Story Behind Anna Nicole Smith's Death" written by former MSNBC journalist Rita Cosby, in which the final days before the starlet's unfortunate death are presented in a totally different light than what we have seen and heard so far.

Among Cosby's shocking so-called revelations we find claims that both Birkhead and Stern fed Smith a steady diet of alcohol and drugs, among which Vicodin, Valium, morphine and Demerol. Also – and this is where things get interesting – there is also a video tape of the two having sex which was in possession of Anna Nicole Smith, who according to one friend loved to watch it over and over again. The story goes, Smith first became aware of the relationship between the two when she caught then red-handed, having oral sex in an apartment in New York.

Cosby claims that in fact Stern (who is depicted as a ruthless business man interested in nothing but money) and Birkhead had struck a deal – the latter would be granted custody of Anna's baby girl in exchange for Stern being named executor of the star's estate. Dannielynn (who turns 1 on Friday) could potentially inherit hundreds of millions of dollars from the estate of Smith's late husband, oil tycoon Howard Marshall. Neither man is said to have cared about Smith too much, as – Cosby implies – they were both only after her money and fame.

Both men declined the allegations. A furious Birkhead declared that "if she printed that then she is really getting sued. My attorneys are going after her and that is absolutely false. And I am sure Howard and the estate and everyone else involved is going to sue her too. This is just nonsense".

And while these may all be just a bunch of speculations, one thing is for sure – they are already hitting hard the men's public images. OK Magazine, who had a deal with Birkhead and exclusively owned the rights to publish the photos from baby Danielynn's first birthday, already severed ties with him just days before this scandal was made public. So if you are wandering what will happen next, your guess is as good as ours, but one thing is for sure – it will definitely not be pretty.
