Gavin Rossdale Cheated on Gwen Stefani with Courtney Love

Gavin Rossdale and Gwen Stefani are a match made in (rock) heaven. They met in 1995 while touring together, got married in 2002 and now have two adorable boys, which pretty much make them in the eyes of many the perfect example of how love in Hollywood is possible after all. Rocker Courtney Love has a different story to tell, though, as Us Magazine can confirm.

Not only was she once romantically involved with Rossdale, but she was so when he was already married to Gwen, Love says in a brand new interview. They were together for about 8 months, during which time she can vouch that he was the “sweetest” man on the face of the planet and that they had a lot of “fun” together. And the revelations don’t stop here either, for she has good knowledge that she was not the only mistress she kept and that Gwen knew about it all along.

“Courtney Love claims she slept with Gavin Rossdale even though he was with Gwen Stefani. On The Howard Stern Show on Sirius XM Radio Monday, the Hole rocker, 45, said she had a ‘vision of marrying Gavin Rossdale one time... We were like, “Let’s go spend our rock star money!”’ During their eight months together, ‘we had a really good time...’ she said. ‘He was lovely.’ […] Stern then asked her, ‘You were [with] him while he was with Gwen Stefani?’ ‘Yes,’ Love replied. ‘She does know’,” Us Magazine writes, citing the recent interview.

“Stern continued: ‘You mean he was [with ]with you while he was with her?’ ‘Everyone... yeah... and a few other people,’ Love said. ‘We didn’t have a lot of pressure on each other, but we did like each other quite a bit.’ Rossdale has yet to comment on Love’s claims,” the publication further reports. In the same interview, Love also says that she had fallen for Gavin because he was “such an Adonis” and not because he looked and sounded a bit like her late ex, Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain.

As shocking as Love’s claims may be, this is not the first time that Rossdale’s commitment to Gwen is brought into question. Shortly after the two wedded, a paternity test revealed he had a daughter with model Pearl Lowe, which reportedly “devastated and infuriated” Gwen. Eventually, they moved past that – until Courtney Love came into the picture.
