The upcoming reboot of 1980s arcade classic Gauntlet will be unveiled at this year's edition of the E3 conference, according to the latest news from Warner Bros., that has also released a trailer in order to get the crowds excited for the expo.

The video introduces the weapon and equipment customization that the dungeon crawler will offer once it's out, as well as showing a few of the abilities that players will be able to employ in battle in order to clear entire rooms of foes.

In addition to this, starting on June 5, at 6 PM PST / June 6, 1 AM GMT, Wil Wheaton of Star Trek fame and America's Next Top Model winner Adrianne Curry will stream live gameplay from Warner Bros. Interactive's Gauntlet.

The two will be joined by actor Pooch Hall and Dwayne Richard, current holder of the world record Gauntlet score, in the first official live interactive gameplay broadcast for the upcoming game.

The 2014 version of Gauntlet will feature the same four classes that the original 1985 one did, Warrior, Wizard, Valkyrie and Elf.

Gauntlet is currently in development at Arrowhead Game Studios and is scheduled to land on Steam for PC on September 3 this year. The game is already available for pre-order at select retailers, offering various in-game items as incentive.
