Gauntlet: Seven Sorrows is a video game that was developed by Midway Studios - San Diego and was published by Midway Home Entertainment, Inc., a company that is no longer around and had most property taken over by Warner Bros.

The game was launched on the PlayStation 2 home gaming console from Sony and the original Xbox from Microsoft and a downloadable version is also available on the newer Xbox 360.

It was released during the month of December 2005.

The game can be classed as being action title with elements from the medieval and the fantasy genre that can be played from a third-person perspective.

The story of the game is built upon four legendary warriors that were crucified to a tree in order to provide an emperor with immortality.

Years later he frees them and asks them to undo the damage by taking out his six evil advisers.

GAMEPLAY HINTS

Wizard: Easy experience

To easily level up with the Wizard, go to the Imperial Palace level. Towards the end is a room with endless red beasts, and you must find the Magic Key in it. These beasts are extremely easy to kill. Go in to the center of the room and repeatedly use the Path Of Sky attack (press X). The beasts will keep appearing, and you will continue to gain experience. Note: This works best with a controller with a auto-fire feature.

GLITCHES

Unlimited lives

In two-player mode under the normal or greater difficulty setting when you are down to no lives or are dead, press Start and choose to leave the game. Then, press Square to load your character. You will be back at full lives. Note: This will get rid of anything obtained since your last save, such as money, upgrades, etc.
