Gauntlet Dark Legacy Codes and Unlockables (GameCube)

Become invincible and invisible

Gauntlet Dark Legacy, released in arcades in 1999 and in 2001 for Playstation 2 and the following year for Game Boy Advance, GameCube and Xbox, is an expansion of the previous title in the series, Gauntlet Legends. The expansion adds four new character classes (Dwarf, Knight, Jester and Sorceress), and four new levels (Dream World, Ice Realm, Forsaken Province, Sky Dominion and Battlefield). It also adds a large number of secret characters, some of which can be unlocked in the game, most only accessible by entering specific cheat codes.

Gauntlet Dark Legacy, although an expansion to Gauntlet Legends, is played much differently. In addition to the new characters, players can now fire both slow and fast attacks. The player has an option of performing a slow, strong attack, or a quick, weaker attack, as opposed to Legends, where there is only one type of attack. In Gauntlet Dark Legacy, the player can perform combos by using slow attacks and quick attacks in sequence. Combos are much stronger than normal attacks and are usually capable of taking out several enemies at once.

Unlockables

Play as Sumner
To unlock just complete the specific method.

Unlock Sumner - Go to the Fortified Towers level in the Battle Grounds and enter the Treasure Room. Beat it and Sumner will be unlocked

Unlockable Characters
To unlock and play as new characters, you must find a hatch in a certain level and pass its objective to unlock a character.

Falconess - Beat the hatch with the Dungeon of Torment inside.

Hyena - Beat the hatch with the Haunted House inside.

Jackell - Beat the hatch with the Temple of Magi inside.

Medusa - Beat the hatch with the Ghost Town inside.

Minotaur - Beat the hatch with the Dappet Peak inside.

Ogre - Beat the hatch with the Arctic Docks inside.

Sumner - Beat the hatch with the Battlefield Trenches inside.

Tigress - Beat the hatch with the Ancient Tree inside.

Unicorn - Beat the hatch with the Toxic Spire inside.
