Garry's Mod, one of the most awaited applications, will arrive on Steam for Linux, according to an entry in the CDR database.

In case you didn’t know, Garry's Mod is a physics sandbox based upon the Source engine used in Half-Life 2.

The developer is not a fan of the Linux platform and even tricked the Linux users, on April 1, with false news about Garry's Mod.

The information about the Linux version is taken from the CDR database and by no means is it completely certain. The CDR Database is a record of data that describes every Steam game and subscription provided by Valve for the Steam service.

Usually, the new entries in the Steam database are first visible in the CDR Database before their official launch.
