14 DAY TRIAL // The red-themed Samsung Galaxy S III is about to make its debut at Canadian carrier TELUS. The smartphone has been available in Canada since early October when Bell announced the immediate availability of the handset.
Initially launched in the US via AT&T, the red-themed Galaxy S III reached more markets in the past couple of months and will soon be available in most countries.
While there are no details on the phone's pricing options, we expect the red Galaxy S III's price to match those of the blue and white versions.
For the time being, both color options Galaxy S III are available at TELUS for $160/€125 on 3-year terms, or for $650/€510 outright. Check it out here.
It goes without saying that the garnet red Samsung Galaxy S III has the same hardware and software configuration as the other two color versions.
In this regard, the device is likely to ship with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system out of the box, though a Jelly Bean update will soon be released at TELUS.
In the same piece of news, the folks over at MobileSyrup report the Canadian carrier will also launch the Samsung Galaxy Ace II X.
The smartphone is now on “Coming Soon” at TELUS and is expected to hit shelves at Koodo Mobile, Bell and Virgin Mobile Canada this month.
According to the latest hearsay, Samsung Galaxy Ace II X will arrive in Canada on November 22 for $250/€195 off-contract.
Keep in mind that only the white Galaxy Ace II X will be available on November 22, whereas a black-themed version will go on sale on November 30 for the same price.
The Galaxy Ace II X sports a 4.0-inch capacitive touchscreen that supports 480 x 800 pixels resolution, a 5-megapixel rear camera and VGA front-facing photo snapper for video calls. Stay tuned for more updates on the phone's specs sheet.
