When thinking about Garmin, GPS navigational devices are the first thing that comes to one's mind, but the company also builds a series of other gadgets, such as the FR70 fitness watch it just announced.

The new watch is designed to fit both genders and is available in a variety of colors, but all featuring the same functionality.

Once strapped to one's hand, the fitness watch will keep track of your workout time, heart rate and calories that are burned, while also being equipped with ANT+ technology.

This allows the FR70 to communicate with compatible workout devices such as treadmills, bikes, elliptical machines and others and even comes with a wireless foot pod for collecting data like speed, distance or cadence.

Furthermore, users can also opt to pair the watch with the Tanita BC-1000 system to keep track of your weight, body fat or water levels to name just a few of its features. The FR70 has been priced by Garmin at £129 ($207 or 146 Euros).
