Featuring some of the best stars of the day, “Gangster Squad” tells the story of a bunch of cops who cross over to the other side and become vigilantes, in a last bid to stop a mafia boss from ruling the town.
Sean Penn is playing the mafia boss, of course.
We just love the sense of continuation in the poster (the character in the background goes center stage in the next image), which could be a hint that the ties that bind the good guys and the bad guys might be stronger than we think at first.
We'll see about that. “Gangster Squad” will be out on September 7.
