Gamevil USA, the North American division of the South Korea-based Gamevil, has recently announced the upcoming release of a new game for mobile phones. Called Super Boom Boom 2: Space Adventure, the game we are talking about should be available by the end of October, but it looks like only AT&T subscribers will be able to try and buy it, though, hopefully, the other US major carriers will include it in their line-up of products too.

Super Boom Boom 2: Space Adventure will come with a novelty for the US mobile gaming market, as it will be the first game to feature a so-called micro-transaction system. Already popular in South Korea, this is a new "business model" that requires users to pay only a small price for the game itself. After they buy it, in order to receive in-game virtual currency (known as G-Points), users have to pay a bit more. The G-Points will help them unlock new stages, get new items and play related mini games, so lots of users will probably want to have them.

As for the new game itself, this is the sequel to Super Boom Boom launched by Gamevil back in 2007. There aren't too many details about the new title, but we do know that it's a puzzle game, like its first edition. 5 stages will have to be completed, all being featured with upgraded space graphics. A new Driving Mode is also available, while a Nationwide Leaderboard will allow users to post their high scores online so that anyone can see how good they are.

Super Boom Boom 2: Space Adventure is the fifth mobile game launched by Gamevil USA this year, after the multi-player Path of a Warrior: Imperial Blood, My Monster Pet, Golf Superstars 2008 and The Shroud – an RPG that might have become a hit by now.
