Just in time for Gamescom 2012 and their presentation about the various ways Neverwinter will encourage User Generated Content, the development team at Cryptic has also offered some new screens linked to the MMO, designed to show off the various areas of the game and the graphics quality.

Neverwinter is taking place after a series of traumatic events that have hit the city that features in the Forgotten Realms Dungeons & Dragons setting, including a volcano eruption that devastated much of the city 30 years ago and a peaceful occupation by the Lord of Waterdeep.

Gamers will be able to customize their character with the trademark system that Cryptic has developed and will also have access to an in-game store that offers even more cosmetic changes.

Cryptic has high hopes for the free-to-play MMO and hopes to attract both the gamers who were in love with the Neverwinter series of single-player role-playing games and those who have loved its previous titles in the same genre.

I care nothing for screen-caps. How about some inkling of when this * thing will arrive.
