Crimson Dragon makes a return from last month on the Xbox One

Microsoft has revealed this month's Games with Gold program lineup, a service that Xbox Live Gold members can take advantage of to get free Xbox One and Xbox 360 video games.

The games available through the month of September are Capybara Games' Super Time Force, replacing Strike Suit Zero, a time-altering powers-imbued retro-themed action platformer, and Crimson Dragon, a repeat of last month's offering.

Over on the Xbox 360, things are a little bit better, with Monaco: What's Yours Is Mine, an indie heist game, accompanied by Bungie's acclaimed first-person shooter Halo: Reach, which is considered to have one of the best single-player campaigns since Halo: Combat Evolved first sparked the series.

Monaco will be free for Xbox 360 users starting September 1, and will be replaced by Halo: Reach from September 16 through September 30.

This month's offering seems a bit meh on both Microsoft's platforms as well as on Sony's PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita, whose PlayStation Plus program brings Velocity 2X, Sportsfriends, PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale, Hoard, Joe Danger and TxK to subscribers.

The good news, however, is that this month you'll have plenty of time to visit your backlog and spend some quality time with games that have never gotten time in the spotlight up to now.
