14 DAY TRIAL // Microsoft confirms that in June the Games with Gold program brings quite a few interesting free titles to the Xbox One and Xbox 360, in the form of Massive Chalice, Just Cause 2, or Thief.
The Games with Gold program organized by Microsoft to reward its Xbox Live Gold subscribers with various free titles, is a big success, as many people enjoy getting free titles on both the Xbox One and the Xbox 360 platforms.
June 2015 brings great titles to Games with Gold
After rolling out quite a few solid free games during the last few months, Microsoft now confirms on its Xbox Wire the June 2015 lineup for Games with Gold.
First up, Xbox One users with active Gold subscriptions can enjoy Massive Chalice, the tactical strategy game made by Double Fine Productions. Players will go throughout different adventures during a 300 year war, in which they have to wage combat, ensure that their bloodline continues, and that your enemies perish.
Owners of the new console will continue to enjoy Pool Nation FX, as after making its debut for free in April and getting an extension in May, it gets yet another extension throughout the month of June. Both Xbox One games will be available from June 1 to June 30.
Xbox 360 users get Just Cause 2 and Thief
Meanwhile, between June 1 and June 15, Xbox Live Gold subscribers will get for free Just Cause 2, the most recent entry in the open world sandbox series made by Avalanche Studios. From June 16 until June 30, they'll also be able to enjoy for free Thief, the most recent stealth game made by Eidos Montreal.
Bear in mind that an active Xbox Live Gold subscription is required to download and play the games on the Xbox One, it's only necessary on the Xbox 360 to transfer the digital titles. Afterwards, if your subscription expires, you can still access them.
